Music is and has always been a huge part of my everyday life. At the age of fourteen I started my first band with school mates. Today I'm still singing and playing guitar, in a new band with friends. I grew up in a small quiet town surrounded by forests that is situated just outside of Germany's fast paced, culturally and artistically rich capital, Berlin. My entire life I've had a strong connection to music and nature. Being so close to Berlin, full of local street performers or music artists who flock there from around the world. However, to be so close to nature, where I can be immersed in the sounds of nothing but the wind in the trees and the wildlife, in a matter of minutes has had a profound effect on me. For the past several years I have personally seen and experienced the changes in our environment. These changes are no secret, they have been described by scientists around the whole world. They are not localised, they are globalised. Our world is quite literally burning up around us. Since music has always connected people from every corner of the world, it is my hope that it will enable us to create something much bigger to save this planet. This new project under my own name is a way to spread my own thoughts, I shall try through my music, to open up discussions. The same sort of discussions that have given form to the ideas I'm working on. They will be in my book which will be published soon. A global solidarity is only possible, if we all accept that our different convictions and beliefs do not make us enemies. So please let us all get our shit together. It might be our last chance!
